OSPC Expert Testifies at School to Prison Pipeline Senate Hearing

OSPC policy analyst Christopher Scott submitted written testimony to the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Human Rights, which held the first hearing ever on December 12th on the School to Prison Pipeline.  Since the 1990s, schools increasingly have relied on law enforcement to administer disciplinary actions and, as a result, more and more students have been pushed out of the classroom and into the juvenile justice system.
