Groups Urge Congress to Restore Funding for Transparency Efforts
30+ groups call on Congress to restore the e-gov fund that helps hold the U.S. government transparent and accountable.

The Open Society Policy Center, along with 30 other organizations, called on Congress to restore funding levels, through the Electronic Government Fund, to federal transparency e-programs, such as data.gov and USAspending.gov. The Fund supports websites that are critical for identifying wasteful, inefficient government projects.
